If I had to summarize 2025 in a single word, it would be presence. Not programs or projects (though there were plenty of those), but the unmistakable sense that God has been with us.
Through a year of transition and growth, we have constantly seen God at work. As Trinity Westchester prepared for commissioning as an independent church, Trinity New Canaan/Darien reunited with Greenwich, and many new families joined our church community, we have felt the Lord’s hand guiding and sustaining this community in incredible ways.
Each year, we pause to look back before we look ahead. This Impact Report is an invitation to do just that. But here’s what we want you to remember as you read: the story of Trinity Church isn’t captured in statistics or summaries alone. It’s woven together from hundreds of individual stories, yours and ours included.
The thread that holds all of our stories together is the faithfulness of Jesus.
So as you look through this guide, take a moment to reflect on your own year. Where did God meet you? What did He carry you through? How did He shape you? What did He do through you?
Thank you for being part of this community. Your prayers, your presence, your service, and your generosity are what make Trinity what it is. As we look ahead to the rest of 2026, we invite you to ask the Lord how He might continue to use your partnership to extend His Kingdom in and through this place.
Blessings,
God has been faithful to us, and remembering His faithfulness is how we find the courage to step into a new year with open hands and expectant hearts.
A Journey Through Jeremiah. We began the year exploring what it means to let God reshape our hearts from the inside out, even when change feels uncomfortable or costly.
A Journey Through Jeremiah. We sat with hard questions about God and faith, learning that honest doubt and deep trust are not opposites but companions on the road with God.
A Journey Through Jeremiah. We wrestled with what it means to hear God’s voice in a noisy world and to live with conviction even when the message is countercultural.
A Journey Through Jeremiah. We explored the call to swim against the cultural current, choosing faithfulness over popularity and trusting God’s long-term promises.
A Journey Through Jeremiah. We closed our time in Jeremiah discovering that God’s final word is never judgment but restoration, renewal, and an unshakable hope.
We brought the teachings and experience of Jesus into direct conversation with the complex issues we navigate every day: honest, grounded, and refreshingly relevant.
We took a closer look at the words we use most but understand least: unpacking the essential language of Christian faith with fresh eyes.
Using the Christmas narrative as our guide, we explored what it truly looks like to live for something greater than ourselves, and to join in a story much bigger than our own.
We considered what it looks like to truly join in God’s mission.
This past year brought record participation, new families, and meaningful innovation. A reimagined retreat format gave busy families more flexibility, and the launch of First Sunday created a vibrant, high-energy gathering for K through 5th graders. Sunday mornings feel alive, and it shows.
Eben’s preschool teachers have marveled at how much he loves to tell his friends about Jesus. He regularly relates stories he learned at Trinity Kids that Sunday to his classmates throughout the week.
Our middle and high school ministry had a standout year, with surging participation and deeper student engagement across Sunday gatherings and huddles. A new dedicated gathering for middle schoolers created the relational, age-appropriate space they needed, strengthening the whole ministry in the process.
Trinity Kids and Trinity Youth remain closely partnered, sharing a unified gospel message from early childhood through graduation and walking alongside families every step of the way.
Trinity Youth is impactful because of the connections it builds, not only with God but with one another. Through TY, I have found a true sense of belonging in the church and feel part of something greater than myself.
…it’s a really non judgmental space, like if you wanted to put your hands out or kneel down, nobody would ask you why you were doing that.
Three new courses launched this year: MoneyLife, exploring financial wisdom through a Biblical lens; Guide to Gospel Neighboring (now Community Outreach 101), a practical guide to loving those around us; and The Story of God, the first in a series being developed for our Essential growth pathway.
Spiritual formation also ran deep through Practicing the Way and prayer-focused groups like Listening to God, the 40-Day Prayer Challenge, Moms in Prayer, and “Glammas” in Prayer.
Community groups continued to grow in size and substance. Our Wednesday Women’s Study expanded to 30, its largest ever. The Young Adult group outgrew home gatherings and moved to the Ministry Center.
I’ve been really encouraged by being able to come alongside other Christians and women, to be vulnerable; it’s really been a safe space. It is just a highlight of my week. Having just moved to the area and not knowing a single person, I’ve really appreciated the friendships for forming our faith and encouraging us and growing deeper in relationships with the Lord and with each other.
with regular terms, a Summer Alpha and retreat, our annual Taste of Alpha in August, and an Alumni Day retreat for 25 guests at the beautiful local convent of St. Birgitta.
Behind it all is a remarkable team of leaders and volunteers who pour into this ministry term after term, year after year. We’re deeply grateful for each of them, and for the formation, transformation, friendships, and community that continue to emerge.
from Trinity Serves partners
to Uganda, Honduras and North Macedonia
in grants given to CT and international partners and missionaries
with local partners through Groups, on-site projects, and one-off events: we packed backpacks for DVCC, made pantry baskets for Pacific House, packed weekend food bags for Filling in the Blanks, made Thanksgiving baskets for Elevate Bridgeport, collected toys for Building One Community and undergarments for The Undies Project, and more!
2025 was a year to celebrate at Trinity Church. Giving increased over 16%, from $2.94M to $3.42M, as new givers joined and existing givers leaned in generously. Sunday attendance climbed, and growth across Youth, Kids, and Adult Groups reflected something deeper: a community where people truly belong before they believe, and are being formed in the way of Jesus.
In 2025, your giving enabled Trinity’s groups and ministries to meet the needs of our growing church family and local communities. We are exceedingly grateful for the Lord’s provision through every individual who gave sacrificially and as part of their acts of worship.
Thanks to your generous giving and careful stewardship, 2025 expenses came in under forecast. Combined with interest income and a one-time payroll tax credit, we finished the year with a positive net income.
